Digital Inspiration - Stuck Sketches Guest Designer

Hello blog friends - hope you are all well. I have been having a great time getting caught up on some of my fall photos and getting them in scrapbooks. It's funny - I tend to do layouts based on a season or holiday in spurts. It's probably because all the new products are out and they are so fun to use. When I scrapbook - whether digitally or on paper - I almost always start with a sketch. I have said in previous posts just how much I love the Stuck?! Sketches site and I turn to them for inspiration time and time again. This month I have been selected as their Guest Designer and I couldn't be more thrilled! It's such a great site and if you haven't checked them out - you should!

Here is the sketch that I used- it is the November 1st sketch and is up on their blog today!

and here is my layout-
I used the amazing Hello Fall Collection in digital format and it can be found here over on Snap Click Supply - my favorite site to get digital scrapbook collections.

Echo Park Halloween Town Boo Card

Hi there everyone! It's Tya and I am here on the blog today sharing with you a card I made using the adorable Halloween Town collection! I love this line so much!
This card was a lot of fun to put together! This card measures 4 1/2 x 5 1/2 and I used a piece of white cardstock to make the card base. I then layered a piece of the Bewitching Pumpkins plaid paper for the background. I love when Halloween collections include the color purple - I loved the purple chevron pattern on the B side of the Journaling Cards paper. I trimmed the 2 edges of that paper into a banner shape and added it to the card with some foam tape.

I cut the letters out on my Silhouette Cameo in blue, orange and green cardstock. I tied a piece of white crochet thread to the letter B. I also added an "Eek" sticker and punched out some stars with paper punch and added them to the letters. I love the cute ghostie peeking out from behind the letter don't you? I added some enamel dots in the bottom right corner as well.

In the bottom left corner I added another embellishment cluster here. I added a banner sticker, a pumpkin sticker and a few more hand punched starts. Enamel dots were also added. I also cut a zig zag border from a Silhouette cut file out of black cardstock and layered that under the purple chevron paper for some added texture.
Thanks for stopping by the blog today! I hope I have inspired you to pick up this darling collection and make lots of cute Halloween themed cards of your own! Happy crafting!

Supplies used:

Hello Fall Wreath - Carta Bella

Hi everyone - it's Tya here on the blog today sharing with you a fall inspired project using the beautiful "Hello Fall" line from Carta Bella. Oh boy- if you love fall, this line is for you! The color palate is gorgeous and I simply am enamored with all of the fall shapes and icons and sayings of this collection! I made a fall wreath for my project and it was so much fun! I want to make more!

To make this wreath, I started with a 10 inch foam wreath form. I then cut several different shapes and sizes of leaves from cut files using my Silhouette. It was so fun to cut all the leaves from all the different pattern papers of this collection. It was so hard to choose which ones to use, they are all so beautiful. I then started hot gluing the leaves to the wreath form until it was entirely covered. The leaves vary in sizes, the largest being about 5 inches and the smaller leaves are about 2 inches.

To add a little personalized touch to my wreath, I found a photo from our annual trip to the pumpkin patch and changed it to a pretty sepia tone. I made an embellishment cluster around the photo using some stickers from the Element Sticker sheet, some Ephemera and a decorative paper bow. Here are a few close ups of the cluster.

I added some raffia behind the paper bow. The bow also has a pretty pearl brad in the center for some bling.

Up in the top corner I added another embellishment cluster and a fun tag shape from the Frames and Tags Ephemera and tied a raffia bow on top with another pearl brad from the Decorative Brads. I hot glued both of the embellishment clusters to the top of the leaves and I did add some foam tape and pops dots between the layers for some dimension.
Thank you so much for stopping by the blog today. It is so fun to be able to use my paper crafting products to make home decor projects for my home. I can't wait to display this! Hopefully I have inspired you to make one for your home as well. Happy Crafting everyone!

Doodlebug Design Booville Collection: Card Trio

Hey there Doodlebug friends! It's Tya and I am up on the blog today sharing a fun and festive card trio featuring the adorable Booville collection! I have been on such a card making kick lately and I had such a fun time making these! Here are some close ups of each card:
This first card was so fun to make - I kind of am obsessed with doilies on my cards and this swimming pool doily was the perfect touch to this card. I love the little trick or treaters. They are stickers from the Icon Sticker Sheet. The sentiment is from the This and That sticker sheet and I added some glitter sprinkles and some candy corn shaped sprinkles as well.

This next card uses one of the Create a Card bases for the foundation of the card. I love the pops of pink in this collection! I just had to feature it! The double decker bus is from the Odds and Ends and I just loved the whimsical feel of it. I added a moon Cute Clip on the top edge. To finish off the card I places a couple of matte sprinkles on the headlights of the bus.

The last card is a fun one. I love making little scenes on cards and the Odds and Ends has some adorable pieces in it that made this super easy. The haunted house is so adorable and I love the cute little black kitty. He is from the Icon Sticker Sheet. The sentiment strips on the Pick a Pumpkin paper are perfect for card making- so I added the Happy Halloween one to the bottom edge. The card is finished off with some star stickers and two pink glitter sprinkles.

I hope I have inspired you to make a few of these fun cards of your own. Anyone would just love to receive this cuties! Thanks for stopping by today! Happy Crafting!
